There are two classes of federal business immigrants program:
- Start-up visa
- Self-employed persons
Business-class applicants only use mail application packages instead of the Express Entry system. They are selected based on their ability to create jobs for themselves and other Canadians.
Applicants need to have adequate fund to support themselves and their family members for at least one year.
There are both federal and provincial programs, and there is a different requirement for experience, investable funds and language based on the program you choose.
